If I remember right, my stick switches do just such dynamic braking. I have the Mack-5 grip.

I would be interested in the breaking circuit that you said that someone has posted in the past.
The braking circuit is quite simple – all that is need is to close the motor circuit to ground when you let off the switch. Use a DP switch, or relay.
Even with the braking of the motor, I find it hard to trim at cruise for level flight. A touch one way and it may slowly climb; a touch the other way and it may slowly descend. I’m looking for a circuit that connects to the pitot pressure, and varies the motor speed with airspeed.
