REFLECTOR: Avionics: Blue Mountain

I have sent off an e-mail to the guys at Aero-news.net to see if they know
anything about this- on the one hand, I would say "good riddance to Blue
Mountain " except that I am stuck with their  day VFR only (in my opinion)
G3 unit- maybe I will still be able to use it for a wheel chock, not sure-
but I have only myself to blame- thought I had made a well educated decision
to buy them, didn't figure the Snake Oil selling capabilities of Greg
Richter into my calculations though- now with 20/20 hindsight, should have
gone with Grand Rapids- oh well.

I have been dealing with BMA since January trying to get my efis (gold box)
fixed. I,ve shipped it back four times. Cost so far $800+. Fixed it myself
(gnd on dimmer switch). Cost less than $20. You can only get sheila early in
the morning but not every day. Tami is the only one who answers the phone.
She also repairs the CPU, etc. Greg is never there does not answer E-mails
or home phone number. If they are not at OSH this year they will probably go
belly up. Just my opinion.

Has anyone had any recent contact with Greg or anyone else at BMA?
Their two main folks have apparently left leaving Greg and Sylvia (?).
Anyone at the factory know if they have gone under?   BMA has not been
answering their phones or returning calls.
