Scott;
I have no idea that this has a direct relationship to your setup; but I had
a similar issue with music input on my Garmin 340A audio panel. There is
the option to ground a pin on one of the input connectors to increase the
gain by a factor of 10 on the aux music input to solve the problem. It was
on a service bulletin. Maybe something similar on your equipment. Check
with the manufacturer.

Subject: REFLECTOR: Insufficient Audio Level
I can't seem to conquer a problem of low volume when listening to XM
Radio or digital recordings on my headset.
We have Garmin 396's with XM in the T210's I fly and I also carry a Zen
Nano with mp3's on it
I use Lightspeed Xc's. The volume on inputed audio is just to low to
hear easily with both the 396 and the Zen? I've tried my MotoQ phone
with the same result.
I have a booster, called Boosteroo, but even with that its not loud enough.
Anybody have a good solution?
Scott
