I put mine right behind the Keel Fin on the pilot side. I made a dam out of cardboard, and filled it with pourfoam to make a pad, Then I put a 3.8" thick piece of wood on top of that with nuts epoxied into the base. Then I glassed over that making a nice hard point to mount the servo to.
It is tight, but it fits and installs directly to the bell crank behind the keel. Didn't lose any legroom, just filled up another cubby hole.
?I can probably take a pic of it if you like.

On my plane there's a front seat bulkhead and the bell crank comes out just behind it. The servo tucks in very nicely there, and it's working great. Something similar might work behind the back seats in planes with a keel.?
