I can almost Imagine what you speak of. It has been "Cold" in Florida for
a day, a week or so ago. So I planned a trip in the Velo to Grand Cayman for
the end of the month. Just trying to find warmer water and more sun. Not a
bad trip, 3.5 hours from the factory non stop. Cuban overflight permit IFR for
$40. I hope the ride does become shorter over Cuba!!!
Growing up in PA and making the move to FL in 1984. Never regret that
move, I hate the cold!!! But I am pre planning for next years hurricane season.
Fly Fast, Get Away.

Well I am sitting hear in the dead of winter in wonderful Western New York,
envying all of you sun country people , who get to fly this time of year.
Every year at this time I wonder why we don't move to warmer climate. Then
spring comes and I forget. For all of us in the no-fly zone, keep those flying
encounters coming.
This summer I am planning on a flying vacation out West. We would like to
visit the National Parks and anything else of interest that we can fly to. I
remember a discussion, a while back, about airports in or near the park
systems. I also remember a book which I read years ago on flying vacations. I have
tried to Goggle the information but have found little success. If anyone has
ideas for me, I would greatly appreciate it.
