REFLECTOR: XLs without nose oil coolers?

Folks,

I was talking with Klaus at Oshkosh, and he was mentioning a Velocity that he knew of that had oil pump issues because of the rather long run of oil tubing.  I have a certain distaste for my oil lines, as many of you know, and the added drag is, well, a drag too.  So, he's got me seriously considering removing my nose cooler and installing a quartz heater (since I'm flying an XL/FG I can seal the cockpit quite well), so my question is, are there folks flying 6 cylinder Velocitys and still getting good oil cooling?
