REFLECTOR: Best Configuration for Trailing Edge Fences

Jim sent me some templates for the fences - they look very similar to what
you're using. BTW, what is your weight and your landing speed?

Well; with me, ½ full fuel, and some ballast the weight is about 1950#; and
the canard stall, gear down is about 70 kts. So I typically shoot for
rounding out over the runway and pulling power at about 85. I really don’t
know the speed when it settles on, but likely 75 – 80.  Empty weight is
1490#

 

Had some fun today, gave my flight instructor friend and Velocity driver
(Wurzel), and his student, a ride.  The student noted that it was quite a
bit different than the 152 they were training in:-).
