REFLECTOR: Another VG question

Thx Al, I have noticed that some folks with EZs have cut down the tops
of the VGs on the canard. They say this is to get back some lost cruise
speed without adversely impacting stall characteristics. Tom

Tom;

I think the spacing has to do with the distance to the airfoil. On the
canard the space is much shorter, so you need the vortices closer together
to get reasonable coverage.

Are the VGs for the canard the same height as those used on the wing? Could
be shorter on the canard because of very little BL buildup.

Al
