Your first guess was correct! Knowing that aircraft projects are probably the second most popular cause of marital distress, and that my wife's love of travel would have to be put on the back burner for awhile, I got out a calculator and showed her what I thought it would take in $$$ to build a nice Velocity. She saw the figure and said that it looked doable. Then, I asked her what she thought a nice vacation would cost, and divided my figure by hers. I then said "now you do realize that this means 36 lost vacations". She laughed and said that was a whole lot more painful looking than the pure $$$ figure. 

Yes, she is great, though all-in-all we probably should have numbered it 45 lost vacations.
