REFLECTOR: Franklin Alternator

I have my sense wire from the alternator hooked to an "idiot light". With the master switch on to send power to the electrical system, turning on the field switch causes the idiot light to come on. When engine starts the idiot light goes out.
Remember there are a number of connections between the alternator output and the battery. The voltage must be the same.
I have the idiot light on the passenger side of the fire wall, about 18 inches from the alternator.
